Stairboarding

The boys and I have found a new Monday morning hobby. You see we have late start on Monday mornings in our school district this year. That isn't a big deal, but the middle school still starts about an hour before the elementary school.

Did you know there is really nothing open before 10:00 in the morning, that doesn't involve spending $18.00 on hot chocolate?

But Goodwill is open!....and I feel better knowing that if we do spend $18.00, it will be on treasures we can take home and love forever - or at least for the rest of the week.

This week we found Snowboards! Oh, endless delight and pleasure!

It will probably snow really soon. But apparently not soon enough. Because last night, I heard this noise. This clunking, crashing noise, unlike any other.
